Different materials require specific abrasives to work with them effectively. We have extensive knowledge of abrasives, utilizing over 15 different types of abrasives, enabling us to efficiently work with all types of Steels, Tool Steels, and Stainless Steels, as well as materials such as Plastics, Glass, Ceramics, Titanium, Aluminum, Manganese Steel, Powdered Metals, Platings (Chrome, Nickel, etc.) and Exotic Alloys, (i.e.: Inconel, Hastelloy, Refractalloy, Waspalloy, etc.).

Tight tolerances and good finishes are our specialty. We have held diameter tolerances as tight as .00004” (1 micron) and roundness and concentricity to sub-micron tolerances as well, utilizing state-of-the-art laser gauging and roundness checking equipment. In fact a significant percentage of our work is tolerances of .0002" or less. We have achieved ground surface finishes as low as 2 Ra (2 micro inch), <1 Ra with polishing. We have also pioneered ways to get good finishes on difficult materials such as aluminum and plastics.
